Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Sprinkler Design Engineer with over 5 years of experience to progress into a leadership position and build out the current team further.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all design and technical aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with BS9251, BSEN12845, and other relevant standards.
- Mentor junior design engineers and collaborate closely with the BD and Projects team to provide technical support.
- Lead customer meetings, site visits, and audits, ensuring technical standards are met.
- Create and deliver design drawings, overseeing the entire design process.
- Support the company's long-term goal of obtaining commercial sprinkler certifications.
- Oversee the expansion of the department.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in sprinkler system design, with residential sprinkler experience being essential.
- Additional commercial sprinkler experience is welcomed, along with a Basic Design LPC/BS Qualification.
- Strong understanding of LPC, BS, and FM sprinkler standards, with proficiency in Canute, REVIT, BIM, or CAD MEP.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
