Job Title: Support Manager

A supportive and innovative leader is required to manage our support teams and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of support workers to deliver excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with individuals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible support.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support provided to individuals and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure that all staff are trained and equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure that the support service is delivered within budget.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing a team of support workers and delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
