About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team at Rainbow Nursery, part of East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to our young children.

Main Responsibilities

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Management team in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for our children. This will include planning and executing educational activities, maintaining child-to-staff ratios, and working within and following Ofsted and Trust procedures and policies.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Good general level of education, including Maths and English
  • NVQ level 2 in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a setting with children under 5 years old
