About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced leader to join our team as Senior Director, SME Sales and Strategy. As Head of European SMB Business, you'll be responsible for driving our SMB strategy in Europe, overseeing financial performance, and ensuring our products and services meet customer needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Owning P&L responsibility for SMB business in Europe – managing financial forecasts and long- and short-term financial operating plans to maximize growth, meet quarterly and annual financial targets, and ensure resources are dedicated to the most appropriate business initiatives.
  2. Ensuring product localization efforts are well managed and aligned with local and global strategies.
  3. Managing deal pipeline: acquiring new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and negotiating deals to drive revenue growth.

About You

  • Extensive sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of acquiring SMB business in Europe, ideally within payments services, financial institutions, or technology service providers.
  • Experience leading sales, sales engineering, and solutioning teams in commercial, SMB, and/or payments industries, with a deep understanding of SME segments.
  • Knowledge of financial industry/banking operations and business practices, with a strong focus on SME payment processes and products, including commercial cards, SME-relevant software, and commerce platforms.
  • Ability to build strong team culture, develop team members' careers, and contribute to business success, including attracting, hiring, and training top talent.
  • Excellent planning and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance input from multiple sources and utilize scarce resources effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
