Job Summary:

You will lead commissioning activities, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and performance. Manage and execute commissioning activities on AMP 8 Severn Trent Water projects, covering water and wastewater treatment plants. Liaise with design and construction teams to ensure smooth project transitions from installation to commissioning. Develop detailed commissioning plans, method statements, and risk assessments in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct site inspections, performance testing, and system verifications, ensuring all equipment operates to specification. Lead fault-finding, troubleshooting, and rectification activities as part of the commissioning process. Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental standards are met during commissioning. Document and provide clear reports on commissioning progress, results, and lessons learned.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute commissioning activities on AMP 8 Severn Trent Water projects
Liaise with design and construction teams to ensure smooth project transitions
Develop detailed commissioning plans, method statements, and risk assessments
Conduct site inspections, performance testing, and system verifications
Lead fault-finding, troubleshooting, and rectification activities
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer within the water or utilities sector
In-depth understanding of water treatment processes, mechanical and electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems
Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent qualification
Relevant commissioning certifications are an advantage
