Job Description
  • Drive company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance, loading, and unloading.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • HGV Class 2 (C) license with valid UK digital tachograph card and full DQC (CPC) card.
  • At least 12 months' experience driving curtainside trailers carrying building supplies, ideally with experience using ratchet strapping.
  • Excellent knowledge of The Highway Code and road safety rules.
Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.25 per hour for weekdays and £13.75 per hour for weekends, plus Enhanced Rates after 10 hours (£1.50 per hour). You'll also receive:

  • A meal allowance of up to £10 per day (tax-free).
  • An additional £26.20 per night out.
  • A retention bonus of £5 per shift worked.
  • A pallet bonus scheme.

  • Paid 13 times a year (4-weekly).
