About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our Assessments Division as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assessments to gather information about a person's condition and its impact on their daily life
- Produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine eligibility for benefits
- Work with a diverse range of customers and conditions, including mental health
- Manage caseloads efficiently to deliver a quality and respectful service
Requirements
- NMC registered nurse with 1 year's broad post-registration experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proactive and keen to learn
- Comfortable working towards individual and team targets in a supportive environment
