Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Service Advisor Apprentice to join our team at Stellantis & You Peugeot Chingford. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, working closely with experienced service advisors, and developing essential skills in vehicle maintenance coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist customers in scheduling service appointments, providing information on available services, and answering inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Liaise between customers and service technicians to convey vehicle concerns, service requirements, and estimated completion times.
  3. Learn to interpret vehicle maintenance schedules, service manuals, and repair estimates to provide accurate recommendations to customers.
  4. Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required components for service appointments.
  5. Keep customers informed of service progress, including any additional repairs or maintenance identified during inspections.
  6. Handle customer complaints and concerns effectively, striving to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
  7. Maintain a clean and organised service reception area, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Requirements:

  1. Aged 16+
  2. Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English or equivalent
  3. A strong interest in learning about the service and maintenance of petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Willingness to follow instructions and learn from experienced technicians
  8. Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes
