Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes and exceptional customer service.
The role involves managing inventory, supervising a team of employees, and maintaining a safe working environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing deliveries and listing stock on website and WMS
- Monitoring inventory levels and managing stock replenishment
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of returns
- Managing order fulfilment, including picking and packing
- Enforcing safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
- Supervising a team of employees, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met
- Providing guidance, support, and motivation to team members
- Providing feedback on staff performance
- Guiding customers through troubleshooting steps or explaining processes
- Handling customer complaints, concerns, or issues with empathy and professionalism
- Assisting with order placement, changes, or cancellations
- Helping customers track shipments or manage returns and exchanges
- Offering advice or recommendations based on customer needs
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
- Gathering feedback from customers to help improve the company's products, services, or customer service processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an operations position/warehouse management
- Leadership skills with a positive work attitude
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage tasks across areas of responsibility
- Ability to comply with all health and safety standards and company policies
- Computer skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
Salary: £24,000-£27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
