Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team at Kier Group. As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Management: Manage and coordinate the activities of site staff, including foremen, engineers, and laborers, to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets the highest quality standards, and that all defects are identified and rectified promptly.
  • Health and Safety: Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all site staff and stakeholders.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of site staff to achieve project goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior construction management role, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of site staff.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as health and safety regulations and procedures.
