Are you passionate about education and have a drive to support the learning of young people? We are seeking an experienced Spanish Teacher to join our team at a school in Grantham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on students' lives, with the possibility of this being extended beyond the initial Christmas break.

This role involves planning, marking, and delivering engaging Spanish lessons to a range of abilities, including GCSE level. You will also be required to work with teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, ensuring students receive the best possible education. As part of this role, you may have some additional KS3 French classes within your timetable too.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will need to possess strong classroom management skills and experience of working with young people. You should have a good understanding of safeguarding practices and procedures, as well as holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £30,000-£40,000 per annum, paid to scale, making it a competitive offer in the education sector. The immediate start date provides the opportunity to get involved in the school's community right away and contribute to the development of the students.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience of teaching Spanish to GCSE level
  • A real passion and drive to support the learning of young people
  • Excellent safeguarding knowledge
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Experience of working with young people and QTS
