About the Role
We are looking for a tenacious, organised and skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to patients. The successful candidate will work autonomously alongside our welcoming and supportive Nursing and Administration team.
The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care and treatment to patients with either long term conditions or undiagnosed undifferentiated diagnoses. This may involve face-to-face consultations, telephone or video consultations, and managing a caseload of patients with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- An autonomous consultant providing expert advice and guidance to patients
- 10-minute consultations to assess and manage patient needs
- A share of home visits to ensure continuity of care
- Managing acute presentations and chronic conditions
- Ordering appropriate investigations (bloods/radiology) and referring patients to secondary care or arranging emergency admissions when necessary
- Administering clinical letters which require actioning/filing
- Filing pathology results
- Seeing all age groups, including pregnant women and patients with mental health presentations
- No restrictions on prescribing
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Masters degree OR Postgraduate diploma or degree for Advanced Practice Qualification OR RCN accreditation Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber
- Meets the standards for registered ANP working at advanced level Minor illness qualification
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is up to £2,500 per year, with additional benefits including a joining bonus *terms and conditions apply. We also offer a comprehensive training programme to support your continued development and growth within the practice.
