Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £28,350 to £31,500 per annum, plus additional increments based on specific skills. This includes:

  • Master's degree: +£3,150
  • Micro suction certification: +£1,050
  • Vestibular lead DX : +£2,100
  • Vestibular rehab: +£2,100
  • APD lead: +£2,100
  • Paediatric lead: +£4,200
  • Tinnitus therapy: +£2,100
  • Sales qualification: +£1,050
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and other specialised tests.
  2. Diagnose and manage hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages.
  3. Fit, adjust, and maintain hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
  4. Provide counselling and rehabilitation services to patients and their families.
  5. Perform tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and other middle ear assessments.
  6. Conduct vestibular evaluations and balance assessments.
  7. Develop and implement personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Work Locations

The ideal candidate will work across two sites: Westcliff-on-Sea and Havering.

Requirements
  • Degree or MSc in Audiology
  • HCPC Registration
  • Significant clinical experience in a similar setting
  • Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
