We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support our students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Stage
We are looking for a candidate who has experience working with students in the early years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
Working Pattern
This is a part-time position, requiring 32.5 hours per week, with a term-time only contract (38 weeks).
Contract Type
This is a fixed-term contract, lasting 12 months.
Actual Salary
The salary for this position is £17,090.49.
Essential Skills and Experience
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- A good standard of written and numeracy skills.
- Experience of supporting a child with additional needs.
- Ability to support the medical and personal care needs of a child.
- Understanding of relevant policies and codes of practice.
- Understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to build trust with a pupil and their parents/carers.
- Experience of supporting and facilitating pupils' learning and progress.
- Ability to use basic technology to support the role.
- Ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ability to work constructively as part of a team.
Desirable Skills and Experience
We would prefer a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Completion of the DfES Teacher Assistant Induction Programme or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent level of experience in the classroom.
- Training in relevant health care competencies.
- Training to support SEN pupils.
- Ability to use a hoist.
- Working with or caring for children of relevant age.
- Emergency First Aid or First Aid at Work qualification.
