Depositary Fund Oversight Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Consultant – Depositary Fund Oversight to join our UK Depositary team. This role involves ongoing oversight of Alternative Fund Managers (AFMs) and their funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including COLL and AIFMD
- Conduct qualitative asset eligibility assessments and risk-related analysis
- Assist in the development of Depositary risk management frameworks and industry topics
- Support Fund Oversight review of scheme launch and change events
- Build and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Support Depositary due diligence visits and production of associated reports
- Knowledge of Depositary duties and responsibilities
- Understanding of fund products and operating structures, investment strategies, and asset classes
- Knowledge and understanding of FCA regulations for Funds and Depositary responsibilities
- Previous relevant risk management or compliance experience preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
