About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced.NET Software Engineer to join our collaborative Engineering team at mkodo. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in delivering award-winning apps and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile apps using.NET, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture.
  • Implement and maintain a CI setup with Jenkins, validating commits and running automated code quality checks through SonarQube.
  • Deliver software features, collaborating with team members as needed.
  • Participate in technical refinement and design sessions.
  • Contribute to code reviews and pair programming.
  • Write high-quality code aligned with the team's documented standards and principles.
  • Estimate and deliver software on time.
  • Create and maintain documentation.
  • Communicate progress and updates to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Debug and solve technical problems.
  • Engage in Agile ceremonies.
  • Raise retrospective actions and take responsibility for resolving them.
  • Identify and clean up technical debt.
  • Ensure contributions follow auditable regulatory compliance measures.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.
  • Present at team meetings and brown bag lunches.
  • Support mkodo in implementing and maintaining its ISO27001 Information Security Management System.
Requirements
  • Experience in modern.NET development, with mobile app development experience using.NET (Xamarin,.NET iOS,.NET Android, or Maui) highly desirable.
  • Experience building adaptive UIs for mobile devices.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs.
  • Self-motivated and capable of independent contributions.
  • Develops to standards and best practices on a team.
  • Prioritizes tasks using knowledge of the business, clients, and end users.
  • Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Can lead and influence technical team members.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Awareness of industry best practices.
  • Mindset includes continuous improvement, automation, and documentation.
  • Active learner and career developer.
  • Confident independent developer with a good appreciation and feedback ethos.
  • Resilient, calm, and methodical, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • First-hand knowledge of software development techniques and methodologies.
  • Suggests improvements to existing Engineering processes and code bases.
  • Demonstrable experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience with agile management tools.
