Seafood Quality Assurance Specialist

This role is part of LRQA's Seafood Team, responsible for assessing clients' conformity with relevant seafood chain standards. As an Auditor, you will work to maintain compliance with requirements and ensure effective audit programs are delivered.
The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and ≥ years' relevant aquaculture or supply chain experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills are also essential.
The estimated salary for this position is £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a competitive pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
As a member of LRQA's Seafood Team, you will participate in internal and external audits, develop relationships with scheme owners, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become qualified to audit in relevant certification schemes and maintain status through ongoing training and calibration
- Plan and carry out assigned audits across a range of seafood clients
- Generate accurate, unambiguous, and objective audit reports
