Job Title: Anaesthetic Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Consultant to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing anaesthetic care to patients undergoing surgery
  • Developing and implementing anaesthetic plans
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in departmental audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to the development of junior medical staff
Requirements:
  • MB BS (or equivalent) degree
  • Registered with GMC
  • On the specialist register, or within 6 months of acquiring CCT
  • ALS/APLS/ATLS or NLS provider or instructor
  • Additional complimentary postgraduate qualification
  • Additional graduate or intercalated degree
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in trauma and orthopaedics, regional anaesthesia, major cancer surgery, or perioperative medicine
  • POETTS accreditation or further training in perioperative medicine
