About the Role:
This exciting opportunity involves leading a vibrant department, shaping educational experiences, and driving pupil progress. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for monitoring pupil progress, tackling underachievement, and maintaining discipline within the department.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a positive atmosphere of teamwork within the faculty.
  • Deploy support staff effectively, considering their job descriptions where applicable.
  • Construct an effective Departmental Improvement Plan, aligning with the School Improvement Plan.
  • Attend faculty meetings, establishing clear agendas that focus on teaching and learning.

Requirements:
  • Possess relevant teaching experience and qualifications.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be committed to delivering exceptional educational experiences and promoting pupil progress.

Salary: Estimated £43,689 - £60,488 per annum, plus TLR 1 (up to £10,000).
