About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to join our Property and Accounts team at our head office in Shirebrook, Notts. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in processing accounting entries for all our subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure completion of month-end processes within deadline.
- Maintain global property databases.
- Analyse prepayments and accruals against a budget.
- Identify potential errors and create monthly reports against accounting standards.
- Support multiple departments across the business.
- Work with external consultants on system implementation and improvements.
- Process monthly costs for all properties as part of a team of 7.
Requirements
- Minimum 1/2 year's experience in a related finance role.
- Working towards or ambitions of completing ACCA/CIMA (study support provided).
- Hard working and willingness to learn is essential.
- Intermediate Excel skills and confidence with formulas.
- Organised and determined to succeed.
