As a Property Acquisition Specialist at Monsoon, you will play a key role in delivering the company's property strategy for the UK and ROI. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the day-to-day management of lease renewals, regears, disposals, dilapidations, and rent reviews, liaising with external consultants as needed
  • Preparing approval papers and materials for presentation to board members at regular property board meetings
  • Assisting in keeping the Property database up to date in relation to lease expiries, break clause options, and rent reviews
  • Leading negotiations with landlords and property agents to secure the best contractual lease terms and maximize value for the company
  • Overseeing service charges and business rates on all stores, ensuring effective cost control and best practice
Requirements
  • 3+ years of post-MRICS qualification experience operating within the retail property market
  • Full understanding of the negotiation process aligned to lease arrangements
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent networking skills to develop and maintain key internal and external relationships
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
