Job Overview

The appointee will provide consultant leadership and psychiatric input to the acute assessment unit at Fulbourn Hospital. They will work with the multidisciplinary team and establish good liaison and links with the community teams.

Main Duties of the Job

This post consists of programmed activities (PAs) for direct clinical care and PAs for supporting activities. The consultant will be responsible for the care of patients admitted to the acute wards, alongside other consultant colleagues. They will work with well-established services, alongside other medical and non-medical colleagues.

The appointed consultant will provide strong leadership to the teams and drive further service developments in acute care.
