Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 / 18 Tonne Collection and Delivery Driver to support the growth of our depot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely collections and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make multi-drop collections and deliveries in and around the local area
  • Work to time-critical deadlines and set collection times
  • Ensure a service to customers that is second to none
  • Keep and maintain regular records and journey details

Requirements

  • A valid 18 Tonne (Category C) licence, DQC (Driver Qualification Card) CPC accreditation, and a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good communication skills, a can-do attitude, and a customer-focused approach
  • The ability to prioritise and work on your own initiative when under pressure
  • Prior multi-drop driving experience would be beneficial, but full training is available
  • A clean licence and some basic administration skills would be preferred
  • Demonstrate the core DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Caring, and Accountability
