About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Evidence Synthesis to join our Genesis Research team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in evidence synthesis and a proven track record of delivering high-quality research findings.

As an Associate Director, you will lead the preparation of written technical reports and presentations, as well as ensure the delivery of high-quality work within project timelines and budgeted hours.

The role involves working collaboratively with clients, internal stakeholders, and our broad team of experts to deliver efficient and rigorous research findings. You will also be responsible for developing search strategies, providing oversight for literature searches, and mentoring junior team members in critically evaluating the evidence base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops search strategies using online tools and databases, including Embase, Medline, Cochrane, and provides oversight for development and conduct of literature searches by junior team members.
  • Knowledgeable of systematic and targeted literature review methodology, providing guidance and oversight for identifying and selecting relevant published literature sources, overseeing data extraction, and performing or overseeing data validation/quality control steps.
  • Analyzes large evidence bases, drawing considered conclusions, and mentors junior team members in critically evaluating the evidence base to identify key messages, as relevant to project objectives.
  • Leverages expertise to prepare high-quality written technical reports, compliant with company quality standards and processes, and mentors junior team members in developing relevant sections or drafts.
  • Prepares high-quality presentations for internal and external use, mentoring junior team members in developing relevant sections or drafts.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years industry or consulting experience in evidence synthesis work or market access/HEOR across multiple project types and disease areas.
  • Masters or PhD within a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, including setting project goals, timelines, and budgeted hours.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus performance-related bonus, flexible Paid Time Off, Employer matched pension plan, and Private Medical Insurance.
