About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Vertiv in Northern Ireland.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of health and safety principles and be able to promote a safety-first culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct regular site audits to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
  2. Collaborate with the production supervisor, manager, and project engineers to ensure deadlines are met while adhering to H&S procedures.
  3. Support the Production Supervisor in identifying and delivering team performance objectives.
  4. Develop and implement training programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  5. Communicate changes to operating instructions to all Team Leaders.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH certification (Diploma or Degree) with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Site-based experience (desirable).
