You don't need to have in-depth knowledge of waste regulations, compliance, or health and safety legislation to get a job at Axil. However, you'll need to be familiar with this information once you have the role, so we'll provide all the necessary training as part of your induction.

Job Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Sustainability Reporting Manager to join our expanding Sustainability & Zero Waste Department within our organization. You will be expected to support the continued development of Axil's Sustainability Framework and Metrics, closely linking with client Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Goals. To own the voluntary and mandatory Sustainability Disclosure Reporting and drive continuous improvements internally. This role requires occasional travel within the UK, so you will need to own transport and hold a full driving license.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete Sustainability & Carbon Disclosures & Reporting as required, including Ecovadis, CDP, SECR, SASB, and UK SDS.
  2. Compile our Sustainability Annual Report, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  3. Respond to and complete customer CSR/ESG Data Request submissions, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  4. Develop and deliver Axil's Scope 3 Strategy and Reporting, providing insights into our organization's environmental impact.
  5. Complete annual Business Carbon Assessments, identifying areas for reduction and improvement.
  6. Support client presentations and content development, showcasing our organization's commitment to sustainability.
  7. Identify new CSR data sources and implement processes to facilitate data collection, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  8. Support the roll-out of new ESG-related services and products, aligning with client needs and expectations.
  9. Support internal and client training, educating stakeholders on sustainability best practices and Axil's sustainability framework.
  10. Support the development of social value creation and quantification, measuring the positive impact of our organization's sustainability initiatives.

Hours are flexible for the right candidate, with part-time and full-time options available.
