Healthcare Administration Professional

Spire Healthcare is seeking a skilled administrative professional to join its team as a bank medical secretary.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a bank medical secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting the healthcare team by providing administrative assistance with appointments, patient records, and correspondence.
Main Responsibilities:
- To provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, answering queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring that all information is secure and compliant with data protection regulations.
- To coordinate appointments and schedules, utilizing Practice Manager and SAP systems to ensure seamless communication between departments.
- To prepare and distribute clinic letters, discharge summaries, and other documents as required.
- To assist with preparation of future clinics, chasing results, and ensuring that clinics are complete and ready for the next Consultant clinic day.
- To type up clinic letters using digital or audio tape dictation from Consultants' clinics in a timely manner.
- To produce medical reports where necessary for Medical Insurers to approve treatment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of £25,000 per annum salary.
- Previous experience as a medical or legal secretary is essential.
- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Team player.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable.
