Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a strong background in General Internal Medicine and experience working in units with rapid turnover. They will also have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop the performance of colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing clinical leadership and contributing to the development of patient care plans
  • Participating in quality and safety initiatives, morbidity and mortality meetings, and open learning atmosphere on the AAU/AMU
  • Working closely with junior doctors and physicians associate (PA) to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • MRCPPractitioner Certificate within a medical specialty and General Internal Medicine or Acute Medicine
  • Able to speak and write English to the appropriate standard necessary to fulfill the job requirements
  • Evidence of achievement appropriate to appointment as a Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust
