Job Title: Risk and Compliance Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Advisor to join our team at Addleshaw Goddard. As a key member of our Business Acceptance Unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the firm's compliance with regulatory obligations and mitigating risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough client due diligence and anti-money laundering checks across various sectors and jurisdictions.
  • Investigate and analyze high-risk factors, including Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) involvement and sanctions information.
  • Provide expert advice on CDD/AML requirements and best practices to partners and associates.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge on AML/CDD regulations and other relevant laws.
  • Support the team in implementing and monitoring compliance, including creating and maintaining client records.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a comparable role within a legal environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AML regulations and international laws.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
