The Role:

We are looking for a newly qualified solicitor (NQ) up to 2 years PQE with a keen interest in construction law. As a Junior Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor, you will join our expanding construction team and focus on non-contentious matters. Key responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating construction contracts, advising clients on procurement strategies and risk management, and assisting on the construction elements of property and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and related documents
  2. Provide legal advice on project delivery methods, procurement strategies, and risk mitigation
  3. Assist on the construction aspects of significant infrastructure and property developments
  4. Support senior team members on complex, high-value projects
  5. Maintain and strengthen client relationships through proactive communication and client care

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a qualified solicitor (NQ - 2 years PQE) with experience in or exposure to construction law. You will have strong interest in non-contentious construction matters and excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. A commercial approach to problem-solving, ability to work collaboratively within a team, and strong attention to detail are also essential.
