Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Newham. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience.

  • Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored support plans and interventions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or training in education, SEN, or child development are desirable.
