About the Role:

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Bar Staff for our rugby matchday events at Rodney Parade, Newport. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the bar areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring every guest's visit is memorable.
  • Handle cash transactions and till operations accurately, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Restock bar areas as needed, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Assist with other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working behind a bar is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Confidence in handling cash transactions and till operations.
  • Must be numerate and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Hospitality-focused approach to customer service, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.

Working Hours: 2.00pm - 7.30pm on matchdays
