Job Title: Industrial Disease Specialist Solicitor

Work Location: Remote

Role Summary:

The primary role as an Industrial Disease Specialist Solicitor at pyramid8 is to represent and defend clients' legal interests and provide specialist advice in the area of Industrial Disease. This will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload made up of both pre and post-litigated claims
  • Deal with and assist on more complex and higher-value cases
  • Correspond with clients, insurers, and other solicitors and liaise with Counsel and experts where appropriate
  • Analyze evidence and set case strategies encompassing both technical and commercial considerations and advise clients accordingly
  • Provide a timely, professional, and high-quality service to clients in the management of a high-volume caseload
  • Where necessary, interview witnesses and prepare witness statements
  • Attend external meetings/hearings/appointments as required by the business

Client Relations:

  • Provide a high-quality legal service to all clients
  • Develop and maintain good client relationship skills, gaining clients' confidence and that of other professionals
  • Receive requests for legal advice from current and potential clients
  • Establish what needs to be done to solve a client's problems
  • Offer advice on the law, legal procedures, and a wide range of associated issues
  • Attend and represent at client meetings
  • Research documents and case history to ensure accuracy of advice and procedures
  • Represent clients in Courts where required
