Job Description

We are seeking a qualified social worker to join our fostering service as a dedicated and motivated professional.

The ideal candidate will have connected carers experience in a fostering team or strong assessment skills, preferably in a Looked After Children (LAC) setting.

This is a full-time position with three vacancies available. A part-time arrangement may be considered for a suitable candidate.

The working pattern involves two days of remote work and three days spent on-site or with foster carers.

The role involves securing plans of permanency for Tameside children, contributing to the wider offer for cared-for children, and collaborating with multi-agencies.

The selected candidate will require extensive knowledge of Fostering Minimum Standards and The Fostering Regulations (England) 2011.
