Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

NHS Scotland is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services, and we are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to deliver the pharmacotherapy service of the Scottish GP Contract and work with GP practices as part of a multi-professional practice team to optimise quality, evidence-based and cost-effective use of medicines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality medicines management and clinical pharmacy input to a range of primary care settings.
  • Work collaboratively with GP practices to optimise the use of medicines.
  • Provide expert advice on medicines management and clinical pharmacy.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to medicines management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Masters degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT skills.
