Job Overview: Staffing Match - London Transport is proud to present an excellent opportunity for HGV and 7.5t drivers down in Huntingdon. Our national supplying company of bedroom furniture has unlimited openings for drivers in Huntingdon. The job involves delivering bedroom furniture such as mattresses, bed frames, night stands, etc. to customers around Huntingdon in a 2-man crew.

We offer a competitive salary of £14.00 p/h or £15.60 p/h (holiday included in hourly rate) and a range of benefits including pension scheme, up to 28 days annual leave, and career progression. If you have a friendly attitude towards customers and can work in a team effectively, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Safely complete deliveries in a 2-man crew
  • Oblige to UK Road Law and Regulations, as well as Working Time Regulations
  • Maintain daily vehicle checks before going on the road
  • Offer exceptional customer service
  • Ensure merchandise is secure in the lorry
  • Wear overshoes in customers' homes and gloves during delivery
  • Deliver products to customers' rooms of choice
  • Work effectively in a team with the porter
  • Leave customer homes tidy, recycling packaging removed

Requirements: Must hold a UK licence with category C1 or above, valid CPC, and digital tacho card. Previous experience driving 7.5t vehicles in the UK is essential.
