QA Director

We are seeking an experienced QA Director to lead and drive quality assurance for our fresh produce business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the QA team, ensuring customer standards are met while enhancing production yields.

This role is central to upholding our commitment to food safety, product quality, and process compliance in line with both site and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include:

• QA Team Management: Lead the QA team to support daily operations, allocate resources, and ensure timely and effective decision-making.
• Product Quality: Collaborate with site operations to ensure our products meet customer specifications and standards, with a focus on minimizing waste and optimizing yields.
• Audit Compliance: Conduct and lead audits, ensuring our site remains 'Audit Ready,' and collaborate on industry-standard reviews.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, experience in Quality Assurance, ideally within food production, fresh produce or related industry. Knowledge of quality, food safety, and compliance standards, including auditing experience with the food / fresh produce industry is also required. We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum and excellent benefits package.
