The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at the Holiday Inn London - Regent's Park Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our hotel rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests.

Your Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain all guest areas, including guest rooms, public areas, linen rooms, and cupboards, to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard within the allocated time frame.
  • Report any damages or breakages promptly to ensure repairs are carried out.
  • Return all equipment to their allotted storerooms at the end of each working day and keep the storerooms and working areas clean and tidy.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role and a good understanding of the importance of attention to detail in housekeeping.
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service and taking pride in delivering clean and well-maintained guest rooms and public areas.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to carry out the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods of time, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and a good understanding of the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

The Holiday Inn London - Regent's Park Hotel is conveniently located near Great Portland Street and Regent's Park Tube stations, with easy access to central London's major attractions. The hotel is also located near the A501 and is a 45-minute drive from Heathrow Airport.
