Job Title: Senior AWS Engineer

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months (with high likelihood of extension to 12 months)

Location: Hybrid working role, with 1-3 days in the office per week, approximately 30 minutes south of Bristol

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Engineer to join our team at Experis UK. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support for our clients, with a focus on Windows-based systems and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for Windows-based systems, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and other related technologies
  • Assist with cloud infrastructure management, including Azure and AWS
  • Support Office 365 and other Microsoft software packages, including OneDrive and Teams
  • Administer virtual machines using Hyper-V and VMware
  • Develop and implement ITIL-based service management processes
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless delivery of IT services
Requirements
  • ITIL certification in IT Service Management
  • Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows-based technologies
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, including Azure and AWS
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs
  • Proficiency in SCCM/MECM
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
