Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Technical Training Specialist to support our engineering trainees through their operational engineering programmes. The successful candidate will develop and maintain documented skills, knowledge, and objectives for these programmes, ensuring they satisfy quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively support engineering trainees through their operational engineering programmes.
  • Develop and maintain the documented skills, knowledge, and objectives for these programmes.
  • Plan and liaise with key stakeholders to develop training and development plans.
  • Liaise with business functions to map out new skill requirements for training solutions.
  • Conduct regular technical reviews for operational engineering trainees.
  • Support technical training needs analysis and development of training plans.
  • Support the design and delivery of operational safety programmes.
  • Promote a learning environment with varied training solutions.
  • Develop and maintain customer relations with other departments.
  • Support the EN Resourcing team with budgetary requirements.

Requirements

  • Relevant HNC or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience as a Senior Authorised Person within a utility business.
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy – e.g. Microsoft Office suite.
