We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Case Advisor to join our team at the National Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our safety case team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of our facilities and the development of innovative solutions to complex safety challenges.
About the RoleThe Safety Case Advisor will be responsible for providing specialist safety case advice to support the development and implementation of safety cases for our operational facilities. This will involve working closely with our multidisciplinary team to define, implement, and deliver innovative solutions to complex safety problems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist safety case advice to support the development and implementation of safety cases for our operational facilities.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to define, implement, and deliver innovative solutions to complex safety problems.
- Contribute to the development of safety case documentation, including hazard assessments and risk analyses.
- Collaborate with our regulatory body to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Participate in the development of training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of safety case development and implementation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
