Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled physiotherapist to join our team as an Orthopedic Care Provider at the Canadian Forces Health Services Centre in Petawawa.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive consultation, assessment, and treatment services to clients with various musculoskeletal conditions. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and support the health and wellbeing of military members.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions using best practices and applicable regulatory standards.
  2. Manage a full orthopedic caseload of 12-18 patients per day, including assessments, treatments, and documentation.
  3. Provide education and training to patients on injury prevention and health promotion.
  4. Conduct biomechanical foot assessments, including orthotics fitting and fabrication.

Required Qualifications:
  • Current license in good standing from the province of Ontario.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in orthopedics or sports medicine.
  • Valid certificate of Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) to Healthcare Provider or equivalent.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
