Cloud Solutions Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000

** Remote Position - Candidates must reside in the South of England **

We are collaborating with a prominent Microsoft Partner and Managed Service Provider (MSP) that is eager to expand its Professional Services team by adding three skilled professionals.

This organization specializes in delivering tailored and innovative Microsoft Cloud and Infrastructure solutions to a wide array of clients.

Position Overview:

  • Engage in a variety of intricate and stimulating projects involving Azure, Microsoft 365, and general infrastructure, with the goal of providing optimal solutions.
  • Take charge of building and deploying client projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to the highest quality standards. Flexibility is essential, as project durations can vary from 5 to 50 days.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, working alongside Cloud Solution Architects and Senior Cloud Engineers, with excellent mentorship opportunities available.
  • Occasionally visit client locations for project execution, fostering strong relationships and identifying potential opportunities for upselling additional services aligned with our sales strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and SAN/DAS storage solutions.
  • Azure Experience: Familiarity with deploying Azure IaaS services or Azure Virtual Desktop is advantageous but not mandatory, as training can be provided.
  • Professional Background: A minimum of 3 years in a comparable technical role, ideally within an IT reseller environment.
  • Certifications: Relevant professional certifications such as AZ or MS series certifications covering Azure or Microsoft 365.
  • Personal Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities, commercial insight, excellent organizational skills, and effective time management abilities.
