Job Title: Associate Director of Town Planning

Location: London

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Town Planning to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing town planning projects, providing strategic guidance to clients, and contributing to the growth and success of our consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and oversee town planning projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of legislative changes, industry trends, and best practices in town planning.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Business Development: Contribute to business development efforts, including client engagement, proposal development, and networking activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Significant experience in town planning, with a proven track record in a consultancy environment.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Qualifications: RTPI Chartership highly desired.
