Key Responsibilities

The Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Technology Integration Lead will be responsible for coordinating technology due diligence estimates, assumptions, and planning at a deal level. This includes ensuring the resulting plan has been produced following effective engagement and input from all parties and has been approved as required.

In addition to driving technology DD activities, the successful candidate will also have accountability for creating and managing the plan for mobilization for specified deals. This will include coordinating the delivery of artifacts such as the As-is architecture, As-is application catalogue, and As-is technology budget.

The Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Technology Integration Lead will work closely with the Enterprise Architects, Technology Business partners, Business Integration lead, and Technology Platform Owners and SMEs to ensure a holistic target state architecture is defined. They will also ensure that all options are fully costed, and any scope and planning assumptions are transparently communicated to senior leadership.

The role requires excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead, communicate, and influence through networks. The Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Technology Integration Lead will also be responsible for ensuring single-source truth from a reporting perspective of overall delivery status, including delivery confidence, timelines, scope, and costs.

  • Track and measure the progress and performance of technology integration activities, ensuring the integration delivers expected outcomes.
  • Evaluate the technology integration outcomes and lessons learned, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain visibility and tracking of integration activities for a three-year period post-deal.
