Job Description

The key responsibilities of this Accounts Assistant role include:

  • Deliver financial transactional support that is of high technical quality, maintaining levels of control and integrity in the company's accounting function.
  • Customer account set up and maintenance.
  • Creation and maintenance of client job codes for financial reporting.
  • Weekly Pipeline review to update client invoicing schedules.
  • Client billing (100-150 invoices per month).
  • Submission of monthly invoices via client invoicing portals / emails to clients.
  • Monthly client reporting analysing fees vs. time reporting.
  • General AR support for all entities (150+ team).
  • Weekly debtor balance analysis / credit control.
  • Vendor statement reconciliation and liaising with suppliers.
  • Vendor invoice posting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • At least one years' experience in a similar accountancy role.
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
