Job Overview
Painter/finisher required for social housing contract in Houghton-Le-Spring. The successful candidate will be responsible for painting, patching, sealing, general handyman work, customer care, and minor joinery tasks.

This is a temporary role with a 3-month contract and an estimated salary of £6,000 (based on 20 hours per week at £20 per hour).

Main Duties:
  • Painting and decorating of various surfaces.
  • Patching and snagging to ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Sealing and caulking to protect surfaces from damage.
  • General handyman duties, including minor repairs and maintenance.
  • Providing excellent customer care and communication.
  • Completing minor joinery works as required.


The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and decorating, as well as basic joinery skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
