Service and Parts Advisor Role
We are seeking an experienced Service and Parts Advisor to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting the sale of workshop services and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure customers are greeted professionally and with a friendly manner when booking in their vehicle, relaying back costs and information from their service and inspections.
- Update customers throughout with timelines and costs where applicable.
- Maintain a clean and tidy service area, ensuring equipment is in good condition.
- Ensure the Dealer point works to the criteria laid down in the Company Health and Safety policy.
Parts Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders and supply parts to the correct specification.
- Ensure procedures are correctly carried out for the ordering of goods and their receipt.
- Maintain an efficient filing and retrieval system.
- Ensure the parts area is kept clean and tidy, and equipment is in good condition.
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work on various in-house systems and have good working knowledge/experience in Word and Excel.
- Vehicle industry parts and service experience.
- Ability to develop or work in developing new or enhancing existing processes.
- Adaptability and willingness to take on new skills and approaches.
