We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Darlington. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
The successful candidate will report to the Management Accountant and will be responsible for supporting the finance team to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing regional and divisional P&L and balance sheet amounts to ensure accurate and timely recording in the month-end accounts.
- Account Reconciliations: Ensure main trading account bank reconciliations are prepared and accurate.
- Management Accounts: Assist in preparing accurate and insightful management accounts with relevant KPIs, including revenue and margin analysis.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Assist in reconciling balance sheet accounts in line with agreed timescales.
- Qualifications: Working towards an AAT qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong Excel, analysis, and presentation skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a finance team. Working towards an accounting qualification.
