Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Volution Group plc. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for providing support to the UK Head of Procurement and ensuring the effective management of direct procurement spend for VVUK based brands.
The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent influencing and planning skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional and site sourcing initiatives, project managing cost initiatives, and tracking and reporting on spend.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives and drive cost savings.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Develop and implement e-procurement tools and processes to streamline procurement activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Monitor and report on procurement metrics, including spend, savings, and supplier performance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
